my money is on an aptasia...

do softies use as much calcium as sps and or lps.. i have a 10 gallon with a frag of gsp and purple death polys... was considering wether i should start adding calcium n alk buff, or if my water changes would be sufficient. or by dosing will it help them grow bigger?

i might take the frag outta the tank then scrape it off and dip it in a seperate thing of water( to wash off we still on it) then put it back into the tank.. kinda a shame because they just opened up and nowu cant see the algae lol

Just bought some "purple death" polyps, and GSP. pics coming soon! btw, there are three dime sized pieces of bubble algae (slightly transparent green bulbs) on one of the frags and idk how to safley seperate it from the rock. (Ive heard if u pop they will disperse spores into the tank)

So i just got back with a fairly decent sized frag of some GSP.. i added them to the tank and theres so closed up i can barely see them at all. Is anyone familiar with how much die off I might have, or how long it ll take them to open?

i have just bought the par38 for my ten gallon and its great.. Ill be addin some zoo's and maybe lps as soon as i bring down the calcium and alk buffers. ket ya knw how it goes

well its an appropriate size now for a 10 galloon, and will be moved to my 90 galloon at home when i grad from school in may.. in the 90 theres only one other maroon, but not a golden stripe... think itll be ok??

just picked one up and added it to the new 10 galloon. The hippie at the LFS said they dont get the gold till their more mature. Anyone know if this is true? pics soon to come. btw i got him for $40, think its fair price?
