Saltfan, I have to disagree with you. Magnetic ballast don't suck . If something breaks down on them you can easily take them apart and replace the defective part. If an electronic ballast quits working you can try changing the fuse, if that doesn't fix it then you will probably have to replace...

It's hard to say if you should try a different pump if I don't know how many gph your current pump is. The closer your gph is to 700 or 800 gph the more efficient the nautilus will be. XHappyX look into an ocean runner 2700 this pump has a needlewheel impeller supposed to be a good pump. Good luck.

What pump are you using to run your Nautilus TE? I use one and always get a good dark skimmate. I use a Mag7.

Yeah, they are decent skimmers. Better than some of the others out there, that's for sure. When I had mine it worked well as long as I kept it clean. For some reason my venturi would clog with salt creep very easily. Good luck.

Looks like a Lobophyllia hemprichii to me or maybe a Lobophyllia corymbosa, but definately a lobo of some sort.
