    Puffer and 29g

I have a porky puffer and had to put him in his own tank. He eats and attacks every thing! I thought the introduction of a lion fish would teach him a lesson. NO. He ate the lion fish poison spines and all, and this guy is only 4" long!

    Reddish Purple Algae on Sand???

Anitbiotic use is good also. WITHOUT ill sideffects. You can get the [hr] in powder form. Use a small dose as large doses will kill benificial bacteria also.

    very aggresive clown

Try this; Take him out of the tank and reposition every thing in your tank to break up his territory so he think he's in a new environment, and put him back in. It's worth the try. It worked when I introduced a second clow in hopes of a mated pair.

My clowns have about four little white specs on their fins. Having no prior experiance with these little guys I'm kinda worried it's the start of something bad. Ich maybe?:notsure:

    Purple algae?

I wasn't refering to chemicals, I was refering to Erethromiacine a light antibiotic. If used sparingly can be quite effective, but in large quantities can kill the good bacteria along with the bad. But it seems like there is a different problem going on, so the point is kind mute.

    amonia spike

Bleach would not create the amonia spike since Bleach and Amonia generaly dont get along and produce a noxious gas. From Experiance; Don't use Bleach again especialy if you have live specimins in the tank. TAKE YOUR TIME Amonia is a good thing for new tanks. It'll help the anerobic bacteria...
