    Freakin Emerald Crab......UHHHHHH dang it!!

Yeah...but mine must be retarded. I've had three in my tank for almost 3 months...and not a single piece of bubble algae has been eaten. I don't have much in the way of algae at all in fact...they just keep picking around the rocks.

    Talk about TICKED!!!

Now...I've managed to "sneak" a few things into the tank...the old "hitchhiker" excuse has really come in handy...but adding some new lights would be a bit tough. But...adding the new lights would certainly get me in trouble...then I could sleep on the sofa and watch the tank all night.

Good idea...I have 322 watts of pc lighting on a 75...so I'm not comfortable getting a live anemone. The plastic variety may be my best bet...or I could use this as an excuse to upgrade my lighting...

    Talk about TICKED!!!

I have 2 GSMs, 2 Pajama Cardinals and a Coral Beauty in a 75 Gal reef. Recently the female GSM (about 4 inches long) has been hosting 2 large clumps of Xenia. She is a VERY happy camper when they are out...but as soon as they retract she really gets TICKED. So bad, that she grabs the Xenia...

    Angel won't eat -Help

I had the same problem. All it would do is pick at the live rock. I got some frozen angel food, and smashed it into a hole in the live rock. That helped get things started, but it still took a few weeks to start eating what I was feeding. I guess mine was just living off of what it got from...

    Lacrosse Anyone?

Never hurts to check...it's a small world. Those brine arm pads are classics! I've gone through numerous pairs...hating it when they fell apart. Unfortunately can't find the old ones anymore. The new helmets are great...much cooler (better ventalation), better vision, and you can actually...

    Lacrosse Anyone?

ct...Do you know Jeff Rant, Joel Peck, Coutney Wilson, Peter Varone? They are all guys I've known from the island. Also...regarding the equipment these days...things have changed a lot! Sticks are all bent and off-set...titanium poles...the old helmets are gone...

    Lacrosse Anyone?

Yeah...getting hit with a shot is a blast! The bruise normally turns white in the middle...before changing to bluple...that's a cross between black & purple. The most painful part has got to be getting hit in the shins though...my shins are nothing but scar tissue. It's a blast though...and I...

    Lacrosse Anyone?

Yeap...I played at Florida State...I played for Atlanta...and I've coached. Love the game! I've been using the STX Proton for the past 6 or 7 years. Good all around stick...taken tons of face-offs with it.

    Colorblind and ID?

Ok...so I'm colorblind. Kept me out of Annapolis after I flunked the physical...twice. That's beside the point now...I've recently added a moonlight...and with so have noticed a few "bright points" in my tank that just jump out at me. At first it was my Zoos...each polyp seems like a laser...

    Hydor flow deflectors ??

I was looking at the directions (yeap, I actually read those) when I typed...please don't take that wrong. Said the max flow was 310 gal/hour. You may be overpowering the equipment...thusing chewing the gears right off. I have mine on a Maxi 900 as well...and love them!

    Having Problems, Need Help

Hey Mud...no fair leaving! I lost some xenias at first...I feel it was due to temp...dropped it to 79 and everything came around. Also...I have a much higher dHK...try uping it a bit. My xenia have been taking off! For the record...my lfs told me that some tanks just will not take xenia...
