Wow. Thats 3 votes for an ASM and 0 for the Aqua C. I checked out another site for prices and the one for a 150 is cheaper than the Aqua C. I appreciate the input.

I keep changing my mind. Seriously considering a Aqua C ESV180. It's going on a 150 Reef (under construction). I wanted to stay in the $400 neighborhood.

Whats your calcium level? It needs to be between 400-450 for coraline to grow. I have found the best way to get coraline to grow is to drip Kalkwasser. I also use a Calcium and Alk. buffer.

They will eat small shrimp. Otherwise your good to go. Also make sure the tank is well covered as they are jumpers.

It can smother your corals if it takes over. Usually caused by silicates in the water. Are you using RO/DI water for water changes? Have you changed your filters lately? Also, you might want to increase your flow.

Apparently I'm much better at reef keeping than using a computer. I took 3 good shots. Tried to attach the files and kept a message that the file was too large. Any help on how to make the file smaller? I would like everyone to see this guy.

Thanks for the reply. I posted the same question on another site and did not get any response. I thought the wave box, though expensive would eliminate having to put powerheads all over.

I heard that the Tunze wavebox would stress a glass tank to the point it may leak or blow apart. Anyone else hear of that? I just picked up a 150 and was thing of the wavebox, but I don't want to worry about that possibility all the time. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a LN Hawk. Never bothered my crabs at all. But, when I put in Cleaner Shrimp he went wild. He jumped out of the tank the next day. Don't know if he was hunt the shrimp down when it happened.
