so the concensus is carpet anenome then? is there anything he can do to try and rehab it?

its not mine, its my uncles, and it is under 3x150w 10k MH

this was sold to my uncle as a carpet anemone, i am no expert but from what i know and can see i dont think its a carpet, it is a little bigger in diameter than a pop can and stands about 2 inches high. i also included a pic of the "foot" as best as i could shoot it.

looks amazing murph. obviously doing all the right things. are you still dosing only B-ionic? i picked some of that stuff up for my 125 after you reccomended it and i gotta tell ya the stuff really works!

i think i am going to do a 75, i thought the same thing about the 65 being a 36" tank, i was going to do a 55 but that wont be wide enough for the skimmers i am looking at

main tank is going to be a 220 reef ready, i cant go with a basement set upit is going to be behind the tank, and i plan on either using a 65 or 75 gallon sump/fuge with submersible pump

i want to keep everything from fish, softies, sps, lps, clams. i was looking to get a 3x400w MH with a chiller but would i be able to use 250's in a 220?
