I have a 75 gal and have a LMB. red-lip and midas blennies, yellow watchman and prawn gobies and they all get along just fine. They all eat most foods except the red-lip which just eats algae in the tank and on the live rock.

My duster is also a light brown with white bands. I have had it doe about 4 months and it appears to have 2 heads. Yesterday morning I noticed little white clouds, looked puffs of smoke, coming out of the duster on and off for about 20 minutes. Anyone know what this is?............Thanks.

I had about the same parameters on a 5 month old 75 gal 105lbs lr and was really tempted to drop in chemicals but I listened to the experts here who told me to resist and I siphoned out as much as I could every other day, did bi-weekly water changes, reduced feeding and eliminated gelatin based...

On my skimmer I ran the airline into a plastic pop bottle full of cotton balls and it silenced it completely.

I am on a 425' well and use Red Sea salt. I use a RO/DI filter and before I mix in salt it has a ph of about 7. Once it is mixed it is 8.1 - 8.3. If I just use the pure well water after mixing it is about 8.8. My TDS for the well water is 146 and after the RO/DI it is 0.

Thomas, when you removed the bio-balls did you continue with floss or a sock. I have a 20"lx16"hx10"w w/d of which half is bio-balls which I am going to remove and will only have a skimmer and internal return pump. Will I need some sort of mechanical filter as a sock? Later I will figure out how...

Is the Seachem buffer to be used in sw? I need to buffer up the fw that I am diluting the QT with.
