Yes it is all glass. I would never get an acrylic tank. They scratch way too easy.

In such a case I would simply recommend seaweed select. That is the name of the product. I purchase mine at *****. It is strips of dried green seaweed etc. that your tang will love. Just cut off a strip and attach to a clip that can stick to the glass. Seaweed Select cost me up to $6.99 but...

I read that as well. Some of the vegetable matter has no real vitamin value. Also to eat lettuce etc you need to boil it to break down the "cellulose" which fish can't break down. I am no expert, but you should have levels of 0 for ammonia, 0 nitrite and 0 nitrate. Nitrate can be a bit more forgiving. The readings you have are bad. You need to be patient and wait!
