How often should I change my light? I am running a 96 watt 50/50 compact ( quad ) over a 15 gl tank. Pet store said every year. I read somewhere every 8 months. So what do you guys think?

Hi everyone, I have a little problem. I just got a new Return pump (mag drive 2). It pumps the water Too fast for the down flow. Can I put another Ball valve in the return line, to slow the water flow? And will it hurt the pump?

I add nothing to my tank, but I do a one gl water change a week. ( with oceanic salt mix ) I do have some kent concentrated iodine. Should I add it or not? And how often should I do it and how much? Or do more water changes?

Any more opinions on what may be the problem? (with my xenia been four days like this):nervous:

Would a Mag drive model # 5 be good?
