    thx for the help. i have an r/o system for drinking water. i can use that. that will add about a week to the cycling time because it wont spit 100 gallons as fast as the hose hehehe. i am in no rush. thx!

    if setting up a new tank can you an use live rock to cycle the tank? this would cure the rock as well correct? if so then i would need to fill the tank, treat the water for chlorine, add the salt, and drop in the rock - sound right or am i missing something? thx, nevada
