this is a tydepool wet/dry filter i am thinking of selling it at auction. not sure what a fair price would be for it. it is 26L x 14W x 19T. i used it on a 100G fish only tank. i think it is rated for a 150G. has scratches from use but is in excellant shape.

***** has a sale on the magnum 350 pro which includes the wheel pro 60 bio wheel filter. its about 25 off thier normal price. would i need this type of setup if using live rock/sand and a protein skimmer?

it occured to me that i live in las vegas nevada wich used to be underwater. do you think i woud be able ot locate some acceptable base rock for my tank scrounging around the desert here?

so the home depot play sand is ok for the tank? if so that would be great. i could then add a small bag of the live to get teh rest going correct? i mean "live" sand is just sand that has been colonized correct? noting fancy on it like super bacteria or something?

100 gallon. 5 foot lond and about 18 wide i think.

so if you go with LS and LR how much of each do you need to be acceptable for fish, inverts, an corals? might as well plan for the who deal as i am sure i will want to add more stuff eventually.
