Water params had done nothing but get better. I did add 250w of mh and it does sit about 5" below the powerhead. Does anyone know if this is detrimental to its health.
Your mh is only going to heat your tank when its on. Your tank will cool down the rest of the time. You want to keep your tank at the same temp as much as posible. So the trick is to keep the heat from the light from warming the tank. IE, chiller, fans, or what ever else you can come up...
