    Your mh is only going to heat your tank when its on. Your tank will cool down the rest of the time. You want to keep your tank at the same temp as much as posible. So the trick is to keep the heat from the light from warming the tank. IE, chiller, fans, or what ever else you can come up...

    I have a leather toadstool that doesnt have a trunk,stalk, base call it what you want I dont know. About 3 months ago it was 3"to4" tall no longer. It has a full head and full extension. Any clue what is causing this and is it a problem or not.

    If you have extra rock you can put it in. But you will have to remove it every so often to clean around and under them. The LR will create dead flow area. Combat this with a powerhead or dont add any at all. You have alot of rock in there already. If I was to change something I would add a...

    Most of us dont want to wash the bio-balls as needed. This is the main reason for removing them IMO.
