Yea mine is empty right now. I was think of adding a mud bed and some Caulerpa. Do you think it will stay in the bottom? I think it might get suck back up in to the tank. I am having trouble finding a skimmer to fit do you have and brand or modle suggestions?

This is a picture of the sump. Do you think a mud bed will stay in the bottom. Or will I have to buy a new sump to make into a fuge or can I add to the one I have? Alter it in some way.

Yea but there is a good chance that the fish could die, and or have the gills burnt out from the ammonia spike. I guess it is your choice but I think it is kinda crual. Test kits I would go with Salifert test kits they are by far the best I started with a hagen one and it was way out. And you...

Depends on what kinds of coral you would like to keep. I don't know much about the lighting requirements for coral. But metal Halides you can do pretty well most of them.

Depends on the skimmer I have a red sea prizem and I keep it about 1 1/2" away I find I get to much wet foam if it is any closer.
