    Salt Water Multi Pack

The fish eat everything I give them (I pass on the squid). I'm more concerned with the nutritional value of the Omega-3 brine. Thnaks for the help.

    Salt Water Multi Pack

I am feeding my fish alternating cubes for San Fran Bbay Brand Salt Water Multi Pack, along mysis shrimp. It is a four variety cube pack. The fish hate the shrimp and I know it has little nutritional value, so that is out. It also has brine shrimp-no nutritional value. However, this is an...

Reef Tank w/ Purple Tang - what to add?

I have a Hippo tang, yellow tang and flame angel together. No worries. I have enough live rock that each has an area. Works out. Love the flame angel. When starting our tank, it was the first on our wish list. Very active. In and out of the rock. Couldn't be happier.

More than two clown fish in the same aquarium?

Just seemed to make a mistake. Never on purpose.

More than two clown fish in the same aquarium?

Hot883 is 100% correct. I have a 75 Gl with plenty pf live rock hiding spots. I lost a few clowns and added a total of 4 thinking they would pair up. Definetly peeking order in there. The larger one is good, who is the original. The second largest follows her around. Next one, gets pushed around...

What is the nicest looking flasher or fairy wrasse out there?

Nicetry gave great info. Looksd like it depends on the species if it fades or not. Lineatus Wrasses look to be good even by themselves. Could be dominance, showing off or the females that do it. Love the Lineatus, not so much the price. One might work for me.

What is the nicest looking flasher or fairy wrasse out there?

Nicetry, Good call on the lineatus fairy wrasse. What a fish, gorgeous! The only I don't like is the price. Holy smokes.! I do like that they are smaller than the Scott's Fairy Wrasse and now it is a possibility. Any more info on this fish? Do you have any? It seems from your post you do? How...

What is the nicest looking flasher or fairy wrasse out there?

Puffer32, Love your fish. Did not know they would flash across species. Always assumed you needed two of the same. Do you have a male and female? More info please. Great fish!

What is the nicest looking flasher or fairy wrasse out there?

I would like to get a Scott's Fairy Wrasse Male (and wpu;d probabaly have to get a female, as well) as I like the Blue and Green colors. I'm not sure I have the room in my 75 gallon for both and that is my issue right now.Plus Scott's Fairies are not the cheapest-another consideration. I have...

    sand shifting fish for FO

The Diamond Goby is a better looking fish than the Dragon Goby. If I had known, I probably would hve went for it instead. Good Call.

    sand shifting fish for FO

I love the Dragon Goby for cleaning the sand, also known as the bullethead goby. Constantly sifting the sand. Substrate has never been cleaner. I have a peaceful tank, so not sure this is what you are looking for. My is about 2 1/2 inches and still does a great job in my 75 gl. My LFS has the...

blue reef chromis? good or bad..peaceful or mean?

I agree with Lauralinn 100%. Blue Reef Chromis, I have been told by experts, are very difficult to keep. Die quickly and expectantly. Love the look, though. I have three green chromis I bought at the same time as my blue reef. Green have been fine for 9 months. Blue dead in 1 month. Wish I had...

Thanks for the info. Don't know is I have the room for more than one, as I guess the colors may get dull without the female. Any other info is appreciated.

    Scott's Wrairy Wrasse-Any Luck?

Haven't seen much on the Scott's Wrairy Wrasse on these threads. Would love to get one closer to the summer. Does anyone one have experience with these fish? They seem reef safe and non aggressive. I know there are three varieties depending on where they are purchased-Cook Islands, Fiji or...

How Long Do You Leave Your Lights On

I make it easy and set the timer 10:30-10:30. Twelve hours each. Wanted to have the lights on at night when we are home as well.
