I just bought some live rock from a pretty reliable salt water aquarium store and he said that the rock was fully cured...
Should I just go ahead and put the rock right in my tank or go through the curing process in a seperate. The rock smells very good, there is no sulfer smell at all...
Tonight as I was cleaning out my sump I tightening the pipes to my CPR SR2 in sump protein skimmer and I snapped the pipe where is connects to the pipe inside the skimmer. Does anyone know if you can get replacement pipes? This sucks, I am a moron!:help:

If you are in a area that does not have a water shortage the only bad thing about "wasting" water is the money that it will cost you. While maybe you could take it another step and say that money could go to better use (and you might be right), but as both you and I know that money...
I was looking at my Red Formia Star today and I noticed that it seems to have some sory of cut on it. The "Skin" is peeled back a bit and there are a couple of stringy things coming out of it.
Any idea what is going on?
YES!
Who is your daddy Mantis Shrimp!
I am your daddy!!

As you can guess I caught the Mantis Shrimp that has been the Charles Manson of my aquarium. Don't worry I did not kill him. I am actually thinking about giving him his own little tank.
I did not know what it was and really I wasnt all that concerned. When I finally found out what it was the next day my cleaner shrimp was MIA. I found it's tail today....
the tank was due for a water change...
so i took about 2 gallons and added another 2 into a big bucket, poped in a power head...
after a couple of days without too much food he should be ready to come out when i put a couple flakes in.. then i will snatch him..
anyone think a LPS would give me...
I did not buy that little guy... He came with the rock I guess...I had no idea..Should I move him into my 46g?
all i have in there is that guy, some hermits, 1 turbo, 3 margaritas, 2 red collars and two perc clowns..
