OK so if i get a sponge and then just make a seperator of some sort then i should be all set. i am thinking maybe get some plexi glass and just rig it in the tank to aviod this issue.

Well my problem i think is that my sump is very cheaply done. i took my old 30 gallon tank and put my drain and return into it along with my protein skimmer and all this movement prolly produces the bubbles. i am going to try and get a sponge and see if that fixes the problem if not i will just...
