i did many water changes small ones just to make sure it was a bad batch of salt or an innaccurate reading on an expired test kit that did me in..i work on these tanks for hours and hours a day and i dont sleep at night i have insomnia so if i did a bad test wioth an expired kit mistakes can...

i was hoping it could work cuz i found a swet deal but im not going to put something in a tank thats not fit to house it...i strive for my inhabitants to be happy and have the best quality of life..

there are no fish in the 30 now...im keeping it that way until isee the levels perfect for a stable amt of time...i rasied the ph from 7.4 to 7.8 than today after about 14 hours from 7.8 to 8.2 the only thig alive in that tan whic is fine is a tree sponge...so if u all think i do not qt my fish...

ok heres the deal every seems confused i qt all my fish just a few times i didint which lead to ick and i had to get all the fish out and qt them for hypo in the 55 in fact i have 3 qt tanks...a 30 and 2 55's my main tanks now are a 72 not setup yet and a 80 running 3 years and a 120 running...

i did a ph test with an expired fast test kit it read 7.4 they came from a tank at 8.2 for 5 months thats why it died imho...i added ph buffer to increase it to 8.0 hopefully the basslet in there makes it...as far as cycle this water was from my 120 all 55 gallons of it the levels of this water...

so im trying to figure out what lead to the death of my royal gramma i moved him from my 80 to my 30 i realized when i did a water change i tested for ph and used fast test but just realized that these test kit expired.. and i was getting a 8.0 reading i just retested and the red sea test kit...

saw the link wasn't too informative..will the niger and picasso get along ? and as far as the clown that is expensive but undulated is really inexpensive..but i wouldnt get it if it is aggresive..there is a clown trigger fish in my LFS that i watch them feed all the time when i go in they use...

I have Stichodactyla gigantea- in my 120 its 8+ spread if it gets too big ill sell it.. or find it an atiquite home...this is a green carpet not sure the scientific name...what will happen if it has 260w of lighting it wont be able to grow through photosynthesis will it laast a few month or it...

how do u get oxygen in the tank ?

i acclimated them for 90 min...the tank just converted a week or 2 ago but used water from extablished tank the levels were fine the temp never got above 80F...

this tank has 18 lbs of LR a tree sponge and thats it...bean running nicely water came from established tank.
