if you asking if your tank will cycle any faster...the answer is maybe... I used premixed r/o sw from my lfs in my 10g hospital tank. It still went through a mini-cycle...I put in fresh aragonite and about 3 or 4 lbs of LR. It took about a week or two to cycle completely. A bit faster...

I clean my collection cup once every two weeks and I take the skimmer off the tank and clean the whole thing with a toothbrush about everyother month.

One inch of fish per 5 gallons is a pretty good measure...I would get more LR! in a 29 gallon 15lbs is a pretty good start...just make sure you don't use any medication to treat the fish otherwise the rock will die....powerheads are a must....i use two maxijet 900's....you may want to start...

red scarlet hermits....trochus snails...cleaner shrimp a pair...peppermint shrimp a pair...maybe two emerald crabs...maybe a cumcumber

I would get a cumcumber....they eat a lot of poop...but beware if they die then they will contaiminate the entire tank. So its kind of a worry I think....but some people like them a lot. There are colorful ones too...
