Just a stupid question, because the answer is probably "yes", but are you adding calcium and trace elements? They may be used to some sort of supplement, if they were doing fine at first, but now are fading.

OK now I am confused. :confused: I thought that corraline algae ws the hard purple stuff that grows on your lr. What it sounds like you are describing is the soft reddish/pruplish algae that grows on glass. So which one is coraline algae? Be kind...I'm new.
