I have 10watts per gallon with PC. I have frogspawn, hammers, leathers, zoos, so far im looking into ricotiias (sp). You shouild beable to do just about anything you want except for most sps and clams.

How is that filter working for you. I was interested in that filter for a 2.5 any information would be great.

give them a call. I dont like ther skimmer either but mine didnt kill my tank. That is their fault. They should be responsible for the problem. Call them and see what they will do. There are always the words like im going to sue you...hehe companies hate those words also talk to a manager...

but make sure you dont get teh fish and the rock at the same time. your tank needs to cycle before u put any fish in.

I just ordered a skimmer for my 10g. It should be here sometime it was on back order It was $30 from marine depot so if it doesnt work well thats not alot of money to be out. When I get it ill let you guys know how it works. I think it is a Current USA skimmer but not positive.

just had to ask so about 5 watts per gallon is good enough for clams? Even if he adds and extra 130 watts its still 7watts per gallon. Just wondering b/c someone told me that 10watts per gallon wasnt good enough. Sorry not trying to steal your thread. Just interested in the lighting area.
