My clowns have gotten mean all the sudden.. I put a cute little green clown goby in the tank and they DO NOT like him that much.. I don't know why... They are the king and queen of the tank apparently.. I really don't now what to do with him!

What exactly does this do? Honestly, there doesnt seem to be a lot of information about it. Will it help control nitrates? General Tank health? Do I need to leave it on 100% of the time or turn it off? Please shed all pieces of information you know or would like to!
