Can i use a powerfilter on a 10G reef tank? or is a sump needed?

Is it a good idea to use Ocean water and ocean sand??? I live in Sunny California, close to the beach and i read somewhere that it was. Any idea anyone??? Of course making sure is not close to any poopy water............

Well hopefully is that. The blue bullied on the clown when i first put him in the tank and stopped when i tapped the glass. But what if they had fin rot, should i treat the tank with LS in it or not? Will it harm the good bacteria that comes with it?

I bought two Clarkee clowns at different *****'s and they got Fin Rot and both died, i went to the store and only got one back. My problem is the Blue Damsel that i had in with them, i got some meds for it and added it to the tank. Took out the carbon from the biowheel and all . Would this cure...
