hi all i whanted to add 2 new corals to my tank and a sponge i was wonderig if anyof them need speical car like extra additves to the tank i curntly am useing seacem protucts calld reef complete and reef plus and kents ph buffer and a extra calicum suplement anyting i need for them and where...

how can i tell it has no markings or anything to say what it is can i not use it if its the sand your talking about its kinda a whiteish gold color dont know if that helps

i got 200lbs of sand from home depo its called Fantasy sand put out buy costal distbuters its the sand off the beach i talke to the guy in the home and gurden senter about it after going to about 7 places and haveing no luck. lucky the guy that works thay has a reef too and said that he used it...

55gal is way to small it will die in there and fast

kinda like milapeds with smaller legs (kinda)

i agree with golfish sounds like there just out to make money and dont car about you and the fish:mad: most gropers and triggers are kinda pricey if you MUST use fish i would use 4 damsles but i think the above is a better way to cycle the tank got to think about the fish here:D o and golfish...

low 2 watts per gal 4 watts med 6+ watts high most tanks with just soft corals like musrooms use 4 watts per gal stuff like hard corals clams and stuff are around 6 watts for just live rock would be something like 2 watts think thats right :D

why not go with half sand and half coral get the best of both worlds and the worest hehe good luck to you :D

i have a 220 but its a fish only tank that dosent have much live rock just a few lager peices and a few caves i dont think thay would make it there cuzz there is much live rock if i cant have one in my 125 ill just leave it alone i dont have anything that would bother them the most agressive...

play with a flashlight at night and you will see them mine seem to hual a$$ when the light hit them :eek:

thay hold water well all 4 of my tanks look the same;)
