I need some info on the Geometric moray, from everything ive found they are hard to get but hard doesn't mean impossible.

no tang is tank raised "yet" .. and ive seen a yellow tang without a tail that was perfectly fine. im not sure why these things happen, most people say its been changed by humans and some say its genetic mutation. id go with genetics tho.

is there some way to test for silica or silicates in your sand? for some reason vinegar is flashing in my head.

I would suggest going with MH's or T-5's if you want an anemone, dont get me wrong amemone's can be kept with PC's but your tank being deeper your going to need alot of PAR. If you want i can get Flanker(our friendly T-5 expert) to help you. ohh and if you have about 3 grand to spend on lights...

you should be able to get lougles solution at your LFS, its probbley with the reef stuff. but id definately say thats your problem, and you need to fix it quickly before he starves to death.
