    Also when you put new corals into your tank you should acclimate them to your lights. Do this by first placing them at the bottom of your tank and slowly bring them up your tank until you have them in the spot you want them. Do not rush or you will stress your coral and then they will bleach...

    Does your tank have overflow? Sometimes a fish will jump in there and you may not be able to find them.

    It does look like a stomatella snail. They are algea eaters so good for your tank.

    If you are planning on keeping a reef tank say no to camel shrimp, they are not reef safe.Fire shrimp are nice to have but a little shy.

    Salifert is probably the most accurate test kit but as pointed out they are more expensive and need to buy all of them seperate but for an all in one test kit I would go with API

    You might want to look into a cleaner shrimp, they do a great job of cleaning fishes. I have two and they are always on the fishes cleaning them but also they help keep your tank clean by scavenging around the tank.

    My tank has been set up for about a year and a half and for the first year I did not test the mag but I started doing it lately, when I first tested it was quite low so now I keep and eye on it.

    New lights possibly causing cyano?

    They most likely caused could be a lack of flow in the area were it is growing.Try moving your PH around see if this help. Also there have been some posters that have left their lights off for three days on their tank and this has helped with the cyano outbreak.

    I have both in my tank with no problem, so it should be fine. I acclimated mine doing the drip method just like a fish and they are all doing good.

    In your 90 gallons it would be ok to add 2 and they do eat anything you feed them. I feed mine raw shrimp and they go crazy for it, they take it right out of my hand.They are cool

    Need Assistance!

    What test kit are u using and how old is it? They sometimes go bad. Also you might try taking the water to the LFS and have it tested there to see what are their readings.
