Please post a pic of the skimmer in action. I want to see how deep the water is the skimmer sets in and how high the water is in the reaction chamber. I cant get mine to work very good. This could be my nitrate problem?
I have a 37g tank. I would like some ideas on the tank set-up to house an Eel. (Skimmer, sump or fuge, substrate, water movement, lighting, how much LR, etc.) I know my choices are limited but suggestions on an Eel would be great also.
I have a 150 gallon reef tank. I have about $8000.00 in it so far. That will give you an idea. I started it in December 2005. My electric bill went from $65 a month to 175.00 a month. I dont even have my Pacific Coast 1/2hp chiller hooked up yet. I go through salt, RO/DI water, food, and money...
A few Queations about a Porcupine Puffer...
Im thinking about purchasing one and was wondering.
Any special needs?
Do you have to De-Worm them?
Do they get Ich easy?
Do you have to trim their beak?
How fast will it grow if its fed good?
I just put a Bta in my tank yesterday. It looked so awesome. My Cin. Clown took about 1 hour to get in. This morning I get up and the anemone is sucked in itself and has very little tenticles out. Is this normal. My paremeters are all ok. I have a 150 gallon with 3-400w 14k bulbs. Thanks
sweet tank. One day I will post a few of mine. I have another question. Should I add Trace Elements to the tank even though I change 30 gallons out every other week? Thanks again.
Very nice. So all you do in that tank is chage water. Do you have a powerhead under you rockwork? I will try to take a few pics of mine and post them. I appreciate the help and I might have a few more questions in the near future. Thanks
I have a 150 gallon beginning reef tank. I use Reef Crystals salt mix. (Marineland)
#1. Do I have to add any other additives if I change 10-15% of the water every week?
I use around 12-15 gallons of R/O DI water to top it off every week.
#2. Should I add additives to this water? If so which...

Is it reef safe? And thanks
I bought a "Black Goby" well thats what the LFS had it labeled. The fish looks like a goby. It is 3" long and solid jet black with a yellow tail. He mostly hides in a small hole in my live rock. Thanks
I have a longspined sea urchin- 8"+ in size
pencil urchin 3"
3-stripe and a Fiji Blue Devil Damselfish both 2.5-3.0"
a few snails, emerald crabs, and a brittle star.
Do I have to take any out?
Wich can I leave?
The non allowed will be transfered to a 150g beginning reef tank.
