Not a very good idea for the reef. They eat motile inverts like snails, crabs, and shrimp. Only supposed to keep one per tank also. They are quite aggressive. just my three cents.

What is better? I want it to look real but I still want to see whats going on.

I just ordered the Typhoon III RO unit. It should be here soon. Now im going to the water place every two days for 5 gallons. At a cost of $2.50 a trip plus gas cost. So I think a RO unit is a good Idea. This will help the algea also.

I just put 110 lbs of live rock in my 150 gallon tank and now my levels are so high. The rock is cured but shipped from florida to ohio. Is the tank cycling or should I change water? My original cycle was over about 3 weeks ago. What do I do?
