Will peppermint shrimp realy eat aptasia? if so would it be to many shrimp to add to my 55gal if I already have a cleaner and a coral banded?

Yeah don't give up I had some frostrating times when I first started my tank and that was still with the help of a honest LFS but it is still a very rewarding and fun hobby to have I'm just glad that there are places like this that we can go and help eachother out.

but then again being that they are both maroons they might be ok I don't know for sure on that one

its always reccomended to have at least 10-12 gallons for 2 clownfish but I would never have to differant ones you need to keep 2 of the same species but 20 gallons and up is even more optimal but others may have differant suggestions

about six days ago I added a coral banded to my tank which has a cleaner I have noticed a few times the coral banded try to snap at the cleaner with his claws but otherwise they seem to be doing fine now

sounds like a great list but I would consider a diamond goby if you have alot of sand that is the coolist fish for keeping the sand clean and is fun to watch him grab mouthfuls of sand then sift it out his gills.
