I just got a hammer and I'm curious- Can they sting your hand if touched? How to they sting other corals- by touching them or do they have tentacles?

i have the hang on Coralife MH- its 20000k HQI. i have it on my 29 gal.....works awesome

where would be the best place in the tank for a hammer? Up near the lights(MH), low, or somewhere in between?

i have a CBS and never had a problem with it. the only complaint i have with it is it spends the whole day hiding.
