as im building my custom canopy for my new reef...I am putting in 2-96 w actinic. 2-96 watt daylight power compacts. 4 moonlights. 4 cooling fans. the canopy will be 10 inches high. my question is, will 1 - 250 mh bulb be enough if i only plan to keep a couple clams?

As I have stated before. Im turning my 135 into a reef tank. I have to sell my Koran Angel. Wondering what would be fair to ask for him to sell in my local area. He is a healthy 6 inches and currently going through his "change" he still has his stripes yet they are begining to fade.

Im gonna be turning my 135 into a reef. I understand green chromis are good schooling fish. How many could i keep comfortable? What are some other good schooling reef fish?

How do you tell if a cleaner shrimp is dead or just molting? My peppermints keep looking at him like he is gonna be a tasty meal. ANy way to tel?

How many of you run a Turbo twist 18w and with what pump? I run mine with a Rio 600 and see no difference with my tank.

I must agree. It is very unlikely the cow will release toxins. It has to be under extreme conditions and dead in the tank for like a week. I have read alot on them and getting mine this weekend.
