    i would not recommend this. i,m telling you from experience this is not a good idea. i have 4 tank raised clowns now,and wish i never did it.if you do it be prepared for a lot of this .

    i hatched one a long time ago, and he would only eat live foods.we gave him some ghost shrimp, and that got him eating. then we were able to ween him to eating a proper diet of shrimp,krill,and squid.

    no glue on mine just rods and pins. round the hole out just a little,you don't want to be fighting the thing in the tank assembling it.the live rock drills pretty easy.i had a few pieces just crumble apart on me.have a bucket of saltwater and rinse off the residue of before putting them in the tank.

    amy i did mine using a fiberglass snow stake i had laying around.you can buy them at any hardware store. you will also need a masonry bit the same diameter as the rod.live rock drills very easy also be prepared as some will just fall apart drilling them,and it is a little messy lol. i used one...

    i didn't want to start a debate on wild or tank raised.i do own a trio of tank raised false clowns now two o&w and a b&w,as of know they get along well in my 55.they let the b&w sleep next to there fake cup coral they host at night and when lights come on the b&w moves off to my toadstool dam...

    hey ricky you try that ball valve yet to stop the the noise? i posted some pics of mine in your other thread if you did how did it work for you.once the tank becomes stable and you get a routine down then you sit back and enjoy.

    Ricky, bingo which in turn takes the air out,and then eliminates that gurgle sound.that gurgle is air being sucked in.the amount of turn on the ball valve is very small. i lived with that sound for 7 years and it drove me nuts.i did this and it worked like a charm.for 5 bucks try it. i think we...

    i put a ball valve on inline were the hose flows into my wet dry and allows you to back the water up just enough to get the air out and take the noise away, mine is quiet as can be.need a pic let me know.

    black an white are false percs there the same. so yes you can pair a black an white with a orange an white.the b&w are just (Amphiprion ocellaris)a color variant of the o&w.

    hello all, i'm thinking of making some rock towers with alternating shelfs to place my corals on as i start to get them.due you think painting the pvc frame work with plastic paint to look like coraline would be ok till the real stuff grows on them to hide the white pvc frame.
