lexan is acrylic the strongest, almost bullet proof if im not mistaken. and 5/8" is extramly thick for just 15 gallons. ushally you would use just 3/16" thats what I built my fuge out of. and a 240 that im working on is out of 1/2" with a lexan bottom, its 8'x2'x2' finished dimenshions.

Every time I put my arm in my tank my four yellow tail blue damsels constantly pick at my hair. I don’t think they really pull them out but it feels like they do. My wife really love watching them pick on me cause there so small and there not a bit scared.
