after 9 months of breaking my tank in i am ready to start adding corals. i'm going to start with a couple zoos and maybe a mushroom. should i dip them before i put them in my tank? if i should dip then, do i dip them before or after i acclimate then? and what should i dip them in?

i did look at the pictures on the disease thread and they look exactly like the spots on my fish. i acclimated him to my display tank and put him back in. what is a feeding grid?

i used water from my display tank for qt but i added ro water to lower spacific gravity from 1.025 to 1.018. temp is the same, should i acclimate him to the display or just transfer him?

I started cycling my tank about 3 days ago, I just wanted to know if i should be running my protein skimmer during the cycling process?

I am setting up my 90 tank. I added 100 lbs of sand, should i run my wet / dry filter while i am waiting for my water to clear?

the skimmer came with a sedra 3500 pump.

I just bought a ASM G2 skimmer and put it in my sump. the pump is really loud any suggestions on what i can do to quiet it down, i tried to put foam pads under it, but it didn't help.

I have been using a Fluval 404 on a fresh water set-up for about 2 years and i love it. I don't know how they would work for sw.

I've read on these message boards that Quiet one pumps are pretty good, any opinions?

Thanks for the help, are mag drive pumps quiet, my wife told me "even we have to pay extra i don't want to have to turn up the volume on the tv to hear over the pump"
