Last night I feed my bta some krul he took the food and consumed it but this morning he is spitting it back out. Does that mean he doesn't like it?

I taking all your advise and going to buy a refractometer tomorrow. I just tested it again with a drop in glass hydrometer instead of the hang on tester by red sea and it where is should be.

How much would you suggest

Yesterday, I got two striped maroon clown fish. Pretty close to the same size.They first started out fighting now one of them is hosting with my bta and the other is hiding in the lr. I was hoping they would start getting along but no such luck. just wondering if I should take one of them back...

That is how mine are acting, but actually the one is hosting my bta and the other is hiding in the live rock. I hope mine come around.

They are about the same size. I guess when the pet store said they were peaceful I didn't think they would fight each other. Yes,I have heard about the dominance.

Thanks, for the reply I was a little worried. Right now the one maroon clown is hiding while the other has tooken a likin to my bta. How long does it usually take before they get along?

I recently put two maroon stripe clowns in my 45 gallon tank they are not getting along. They were fighting at first and then they split off and one is hiding. I am new to the saltwater world. Can you not have two of those type of clowns in a tank at the same time???
