Lol ya. I dont got the spray bar thing ur talking about mine just shoots water out hose really fast giving my fish a ride when they swim into it lol. I got all my stuff use and didnt come with spray bar. And nope children craft center raid for small things to bend inside fittings to clean them...

cleaned out the impeller/hoses and washed all the sponges and filter change and everything else I could possible do even clean out the fittings with pipe cleaners and it seems to be working now. I couldn't see anything clogged in the lines since I cleaned into the sink so I could see any stuff...

okay ya I didn't use any chemicals I used q tips and pipe cleaners lol. the impeller was in there good and I cleaned it off so it looks new. only thing left to check is the hoses I didn't think of those.

I got a rena filstar xp3 filter and it hardly pumps any water. I cleaned the impeller and everything I could inside with pipe cleaners and q-tips so its all clean and I plugged it back in and still hardly any pressure. it use to have a lot of pressure and now I can put finger over the outlet...

Just curious. Can u add to an unestablished tank if you adding rock thats "alive" as well?

Family friend has some living rock he had from his old salt water tank he had awhile ago. I was wondering if it would be safe to add to my tank.

I got a 75 gallon aquarium and am wondering how many Tetras I could put into the tank. there max size will be from 1.5 to 3 inchs long.

I will have to test it. Its a culligan whole house water purifier. So not a cheap walmart r.o system.

would you need to buy a r.o water system for water if you already have a Whole house R.O system that filters all the water that comes into the house?

How many plecos would you want? I know they get up to like almost 24 inches Hi, To be honest, and I kept freshwater fish for 30 years...there are no good algae eaters that actually clean the tank. Snails do the best job, but still they don't do a "good" job. That's the joy of saltwater...

lol that is way to expensive. if i take a walk down the street and go snorkeling  ITS AMAZING. i see trigger fish HUGE schools of cromis, and i see damzels, the puffers are fun too. but my favorite is the queen angle. oh did i forget to mention all the wrasses. AND THE LIONFISH, I HATE THEM...

when you go to pet stores most of them have water treatment kits with everything you need to start. there normally a smaller kit for like $30 and then they got bigger ones for like$140 with a lot more stuff. depends on your budget.

I have seen people put heaters one on each side of tank when there temp of house changes over night. Looks alil weird but helps for cases like that.

You guys lucky. Cant catch anything out here to put into tanks over hear. Going to be nice to buy some of the stuff online. Over $100 for a clown fish where i live. Havent even looked at price of living rock or sand. Simple toadstool is $500 at store.

i am just wondering if marineland 75 gallon tanks are able to be drilled to run water lines threw them. i wasnt sure if the glass would shatter if you tried or not.

ya the people at the store are pretty smart when comes to fish. they got more fish in there own fish tank at home then there store sells. but ill also look online what fish are good together.
