I have, what the fish store called, lipids. They are algae eaters and they are black with a white nut looking thing on their back. When flat they almost resemble a mushroom. Well I have 2 of them and they have mated several times. I just witnessed the mom having MORE babies. I now have about 45...

i have had 90gal tank setup for about 2 months ....but just bought new light system is it wise to add rocks with mushroom and feather dusters to tank.and can i add new live rock once tank has cycled ......thanks :confused:

Was adding a new rock to tank and something was on my finger ( you can guess what i said ) Black with white strip on it back, looks like a slug or something .......any ideas on what it is? :confused:

well had up and running about 3 weeks but just got lights about 4 day ago:p

when i got the new lighting system it look dead .......almost looks inside out:( what is this from.......thanks for help:p

brown stuff all over tank ...good or bad ? New lighting is 2-250Mh and 2-110w Atc Vhos..

my clown fish and damsel have had ick now for about 1 wk. I gave them 2 freshwater dips and got a cleaner shrimp, which I thought was helping, but they still have it.........bad. What is my next step? Kelli

thanks you guys. i will keep an eye on it and try moving my shroom to see if this helps. the shroom doesnt have bite marks so i think the clown is just pestering it! thanks again

my clown fish has been nipping at my mushroom. now my mushroom is shrunk and i am wondering if he is dying. i was told clown fish are excellent fish for reef tanks.

yes i did get him out! I, regretfully, flushed him. But I did still notice the stringy stuff in the tank.
