The labling isn't always accurate either. One of my pasts a while back i linked a photo of my shattered tank that the tage said the bottum only was tempered so drilled the side . . . Manufacture said only the bottum was tempered . . . oh well. Gave me an excuse to get a bigger tank. Good Luck...

IT should still have the surface area for bactiria (SP). In mine all the stuff under the chaeto is white, only a few pieces not covered have gotten purple thats in 3 years ( fuge has dinky florecent bulb in clamp light)

Yeah. ME too. But after doing all that prep for the move with it to have it freeze and all my equipment smashed when we rolled it took a good while to want a tank again. Worked of well though.

I would think some of those guys might benefit from some of the growth the light might provide . . . like algae and such

In the invert tank at an LFS I worked at, we had a red linkia leg wandering the tank for a day ( at least my shift). But didn't see it the next, so would say thats a no for linkia.

Purple up has a lot of stuff in it, might want to try just calcium,( les test kits to monitor what all your putting in), If you have no fish or anything right now I would get all the LR you plan to have. Bulk orders wether online or thru LFS you can usually get better deals. but in shipping...

Mine worked well up until a few weeks ago, bought it in 2004 i think, and the Pump is going out, thats the only reason it is not workign so well now. cheap works well can be run as HOB or remove tube and use in sump me trying to figure out how to replace pump :0(

FOr the foam between tank and stand , the " foam and moisture barrier" type pad for laminate flooring worked great for me , and cheap to :0P

Thanx for Prompt response. I am not alergic to like bee's or anything like that but I am to Chocolate and penecilin ( SP ) Any other Experiences/ knowledge would be GREAT.
