I've been reading a lot on lighting for corals and I ran across a deal on some t5 ho ballast and bulbs. It comes with 2 10000K bulbs 54watts each (108 total. It says that since they are HO it is equevelent to 216 Watts, not sure I believe that, havent seen that anywhere else. My question is...

I guess my main concern about this is that the trite had already went down to zero and the trate was at 5 and now there is none of either just ammonia. I would have been expecting to see a high trite as well as ammonia. Its almost like there is no bacteria in my tank.
