I found with my yellow polyps that the smaller polyps do not get the light they need do to the bigger polyps creating a shadow effect over them. Kinda like trees. I was in the same situation as you. Some will live and others will not.

I don't know. Clowns and damsels are in the same family (i think). I had a few yellowtails and added my false percs 3 weeks later and they are one big happy family...maybe I was just lucky.

Did I see another thread with your hood with lighting installed? If that was yours how did you attach the lights to the front half of your hood?
