    From reading other posts I've come to the conclusion that 100% live sand is the way to go. Play Sand from the Depot has something in it that can be harmful to your aquarium.

    I'd like to know the answer to the LS question myself is 1 1/2 inches good for a 46 gal? To answer the water question drinking water from publix will work fine, just make shure you measure you salt correctly!
