I have a carpet that I'm trying to relocate to a more "suitable" home for him....problem is that I can't figure out how to convince him to loosen his grip without causing any damage. Are there any tricks to getting an anemone to let go of it's spot?

I have two emeralds in my 55 and picked up a pom pom today. Ideally I'd like to put him in the 55 or if that's not a good mix I can put him in my nano with a cleaner shrimp and snails. I just wasn't sure if there was a possiblity of agression between the two types of crabs.

Wow...I didn't realize there were places that wouldn't guarantee their livestock. Both lfs within reasonable distance to me will either replace the fish or give store credit if they don't have another available if something happens within 2 weeks of purchase. One store requires proof of demise...

After a battle with my nano, losing my candycane and almost my frogspawn too, I've managed to turn it around and everything is looking great I'm very relieved about that!

For that size tank I would probably go with a clown goby or two.

Thermostat is set at 66....until my husband comes home and kicks it up to 72. Then I have to wait for him to go to sleep to knock it down to about 66 or I cannot for the life of me get any sleep lol.
