There is this red algae on my rock that grows in perfect "feather" like branches. Its very soft and actually quite pretty in the current. It doesnt seem to be invasive so have left it alone. does anyone know what it is? Sorry my camers isnt very good

Ok this new polyp grew off of this tiny frag and it is completely colorless. and the top round of "arms" are long and stringy instead of like the bottom row. The mother frag this broke off of below has produced several normal looking polyps since i bought it. Whats the deal with this one...

oh and my tank is a 58 gallon, i used a 700 mag-drive pump (it pumps prolly about 500gph with the 4 foot overhead it has to travel) and an overflow that i think i hate with a passion that is rated for 550gph this pic is turned sideways so you can see how it looks the direction it would go on...

I kinda did what you are talking about. My stand only had one small door and two immovable panels on either side of it. I took out one divider and made the two panels doors as well. You would only have to qt the inverts as long as ich can live without a fish to host it. which i think is like a week. I could be wrong. Anyway, I dont qt inverts its just up to you
