well, took it out and the water level didnt change at all. I fogot that its hollow. So I put it back in, cause I like it. I think I did a pretty good job of finding things that provided alot of coverage but didnt displace alot of water

I made sure to get things that were tall and wide but didnt have any depth, that way they could hide behind it but it wouldnt displace a whole lot of water. The only real bulky thing is the little barnacles. They really dont serve a purpose because they are not big enough to provide sanctuary...

Umm... I dont have a ph test, but the sg is between 1.023 and 1.024 and I keep both tanks between 78' and 80'. Although I think I need to invest in another heater for the dt because it fluctuates between 76 and 80
