i have 2 fighting conch's in my tank and wish i had a couple more. they're great! they just get on the glass and the sand. haven't even seen them on the rock. they do a great cleaning job. i've heard you shouldn't get a queen conch cause they get too big.

i leave my sand alone...i don't touch it. it's live sand and pretty much it taken care of for the most part. i do have to disagree about the horseshoe crabs...don't get them. they will die, guaranteed.

well i have 3 of them..they hide all the time. i try to feed them brine shrimp but it's impossible cause they're always hiding. and 2 out of my 3 fire fish have disappeared. i guess they just went off and died. =( there is nothing wrong with my water so i have no idea what happened to them...

IMO i would go with cured. also, check to see if it smells....it shouldn't really smell much at all.
