how do you feed them if they hide all the time? i have 3 so usually i will be able to see at least one of those all the time..but usually never more than that. they do like to move around a lot. i haven't had one stay in the same place at all.....so how do i feed them?

I have one type that showed up on my live rock and i paid a lot of attention to it at my LFS since it's what i have and those are less than 1/2 inch in diameter when they reproduced..guess it just depends on the type.

I went to my lfs and he said to try Kent marine clarifier. He said it's because i have sand. So we'll see. I added the rest of the live rock i needed so it will probably be tomorrow before it clears up anyway.

The last time i added sand was Dec. 14th..so it's been a while. I had always planned on getting a skimmer but had heard i didn't need one til after i get fish. This is the first time i've heard to get one now. Anyone have a fav on skimmers that would work well in a 125 gallon? Thanks a lot!

I have a tank that size for my turtles...it isn't 12' high, it's 12' deep. the height of it is 24'. of course it could be custom made as someone else mentioned.

I haven't really noticed it feeds. it does have kind of hair on it...i have a lot of circulation tho so i figure it's being moved...and stuff gets stuck in it. Like i said tho, it may not be the same thing..it just really sounds like it.

Sounds like sargassum algae to me. Mine has been growing for like a month..gonna prune it back some today. It takes around 6 months or so before it will just die off and not come back. It usually starts right after you tank is finished with its cycle. Hope this helps..don't know for sure if...
