I don't think the snail would leave its own shell. I know somewhere in my tank there's a stinkin little crab that's brown with very red eyes...rock crab????? anyway, i'm not adding any fish til i can get it out of there...i was only told it would kill fish. i wonder if it killed my hermits...

I know this sounds crazy but do turbo snails kill hermits? This morning i found a dead hermit and i found it's shell...and a snail seems to be living very happily in it. I found the same thing a few days ago. Anyone have any ideas?

I have 4 of them in my 125. They're great! Never even touched the sand tho as far as i've seen. They are always on the rocks. I got them mainly because i heard they were great for bubble algae. But they haven't touched it yet! Go figure. But they eat other stuff it seems like 24/7. Good luck!

Be careful when you do it that you don't touch it! Those little guys will curl up their tail and give you a good slice!

Txduckhunter......he's the only one i go to! i even get my water from him. In fact, i've go to head over there in about an hour. There's one in Nederland that i wouldn't step foot in and that's about all we have here.
