    by feeding he means ghost feeding. this is when you add a little waste to the tank to kick start the cycle. and to keep the cycle going. also i would highly recommend on the cleaning crew of either all snails or all hermits.....there is a reason for this... with adding both snails and crabs...

    shouldnt have. you need to seal it. did it work when you did a dry run, by dry run i would think you mean it worked fine before using the PVC cement...

    i did replace the bulbs in this tank too. i switched the two VHO bulbs to 03 actinics, and the 70w halide went from a 14k to a 10k for growth. but the VHO still gives the coral that pop...

    hopefully Santa will bring me a a new sump pump and new powerheads. i currently run a Viaqua (606 gph) as the sump return with two hydor koralia nano's in the top tank.... im looking to upgrade to a mag9.5 and two hydor koralia #1's....should be more than enough...then i mite even add a tunze...

    i got a bunch of live rock from a buddy at work, so i added some to my frag tank... still not happy, im thinking of taking out the sand bed completely cause i have a fuge running in the stand...this will add to my volume.

    little FYI: current stock list... 1 pep shrimp 1 cleaner shrimp 9 schooling chromis 1 royal gramma 1 flame angel 2 engineer gobies 1 pair of baby clowns in one of the earlier pics, you can see a toadstool closed up. i did another iodine dip about 3 days ago. so waiting to see wut happens...
