great shots, and the kicker is these type of fish (triggers) are very active. so this is a good possibility for my reef tank

i know the benefits but didnt know the ratio,,,so it should be total volume not just the DT....on my 125DT thats 36gallons biweekly. isnt that alot of new water every two weeks....see this is why i asked cause im getting different responses...and i still dont know

you want LR and LS in your system whether its in the tank itself or in a refuge of some sort. usually when you see a frag tank with neither of the two in it, these can be found in some other section of the system. ex...fuge, DIY HOB filter,,,,also a little macro in there and you'll have a...

if it was 300w of T5's than i mite say i have more than i need. but with VHO. i dont see it as strong....300w of VHO is brite but not as brite as 300w of T5's with reflectors.
