What testers do the sharks use?

I am in the market for a water testing kit (i already have the pH testing kit and the high range pH testing kit - but I am sure they will also come in the kit that i purchase) Now that I have 3 tanks (i have bought all of them in the last 5 months) it is time for me to be able to test my water...

I asked a few days ago if anyone had any advice on moving a fish tank and I only got answers from 3 different people (who i would like to thank very much) - I know there are more out there, and I would really like to hear from the sharks too if possible (ANYONE WHO HAS HAD TANKS FOR A LONG TIME)...

I did the cycling the hard way ... with the damsels (give me a break, im new :) ) I have two more weeks befor my cycle finishes, and i started it about 5 weeks ago. Is each cycle going to take this long? What can i do to speed up the cycling process anytime i add new fish or change the water...

I am curious what adding live sand to my tank will do. Will it change the pH or chemicals or salt or what? Is it a good idea?

What is live sand? I don't know if that is a stupid question or not ... but I have no idea what that is. :rolleyes:

Where do you find the information about using raw fish to cycle a tank? I thought salt water tanks take 2 months to cycle, thats what I was told? Im confused ... :confused:

I heard something once about the bacteria in the water dying if you don't keep the oxygen flowing in it or something ....... could this be true? What kind of fish did you have and did any of them die. How far were you going? Thanks for your advice. :)
