Hi i was just wondering if soft corals can bleach......mainly just leather corals....i have never heard of it......but if it is possible i would like to know.....i know LPS corals can..... and input is welcome!

yeah my frog spawn still opens and acts pretty normal...it doesn't open as large as it used to..but it does have thinker, denser branchs.....it is some lighter...and the finger leather is lighter in color but it still opens and all the feelers come out like normal...it is just lighter in...

I would definiatly say my Coral Beauty Angel.....its awsome......colors are great....Flame Angels are great too if you can get a healthy one!.....good luck

I never have used activated carbon on my reef tank....i just use a protien skimmer, live rock, live sand and a wet/dry........no probs so far......and i have a 7g reef been set up for over a year now and no activated carbon there either....everything looks great.....i donno about the fish fungus...

yeah i don't think that my circulation is what it should be......but i didn't realize that circulation could cause coral probs....(bleacing possibly)......i donno.....my tank has been rearranged and the frog swan is getting full blast lighing.........and better circulation now....but i don't...

Hey twicklund.....i too had a firefish..red one....that jumped out of the tank but not in to the floor but into my over flow......the got sucked up and was stuck to my prefilter... :( so look around for it in there.....just a thought....i looked for mine for three days b/f i finally found him...

well as of this past sunday these were my water perameters.... calcium....400ppm nitrate....0ppm nitrite....<0.3mg/l pH..........8.0-8.3 total ammonia...0mg/l carbonate hardness...9dH *German degrees hardness* carbon dioxide content...by chart..2.7mg/l i use 15ml of parts A and B of C-balance...

Okay first off i know you know all about this Wamp.....but i was just looking for other oppinions and yours are welcome too... :D .... okay so here is the deal....i have a 36g bow front tank...which is 30" long, 15" wide, and 22" deep....and well i have a custom built canopy that is 12"...

well what kind of corals......it all depends on what types of corals you want to keep.....you have soft corals which are realtivly low light corals....and then you have large polyp stony corals..(LPS)...which require higher intensity lighting and then you have small polyp stony...

Do you have all your parameters if you do could you post them......pH,ammonia, trates, trites....if you do post them.....what is your salinity.......how hot is your tank??....something is obviously not right!!Good luck

personally i don't see how the skimmer would cause toxic nitrogen....it is acually a good thing for the skimmers to use air (tiny bubbles)b/c it buts oxygen back into the tank....but of course you don't want them in your diplay!! One thing you should consider if you have a sump is to run the...

well if i can't get it to do better Wamp i just may do that......i donno i mean its in a very bright place one of the brightest....i just may be too far gone from the store.....but most of the coral looks good......some of it is just faded and some is like solid white....like the tips.....but it...
